Apple has officially announced macOS Sequoia, the next major update to its desktop operating system, during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024. The new version introduces a range of productivity features, including iPhone Mirroring, which allows users to access and control their iPhone directly from their Mac.

macOS Sequoia also brings enhancements to window tiling, improved Safari browsing with Highlights, and new privacy controls. Apple Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI-powered features, will be integrated into the operating system, offering smarter writing tools and on-device intelligence.

The developer beta of macOS Sequoia is available now, with a public beta expected in July and a general release scheduled for later in 2024. More details can be found on Apple’s official macOS Sequoia preview page.
